An elderly man died after being hit by a bus belonging to Karnali Yatayat at Julma Buspark on Wednesday.
Police identified the deceased as 60-year-old Chandra Bir Sunar.
The bus (Na 5 Kha 6268) heading towards Jumla from Kathmandu knocked him down last night.
A policeman deployed at the buspark found Sunar lying on the ground with injuries and rushed him to the Jumla-based Karnali Institute of Health Science and Teaching Hospital where he breathed his last on the way, Jumla Traffic Police Office Chief Madhav Rawat said.
Police said that they have impouned the bus and arrested its driver for investigation.
