Makwanpur District Court has sentenced a man for life with confiscation of property for murdering his father-in-law.
Justice Khadananda Tiwari handed the life-imprisonment sentence to Yubaraj Panday, 26, of Kolby in Bara district for murdering Chandra Kanta Neupane, 72, of Hetauda sub-metropolis. The court also sentenced Neupane’s daughter-in-law Tulasa Neupane for 10 years for her involvement in the murder.
Panday and Tulasa had murdered Neupane on September 18, 2016 after dispute over land deals.
