19 passengers injured after bus rams into truck

Nineteen passengers were injured when a passenger bus rammed into the back of a truck in the Tikauli jungle area between Ratnanagar and Bharatpur municipalities of Chitwan.
Four of the injured are in serious condition, according to District Police Office, Chitwan. The accident took place on Monday when the bus (Ga. 1 Kha. 5064) heading towards Tandi from Bharatpur hit the truck (Na.5. Kha. 1012) heading towards the same direction.
The injured are undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College. The accident took place as the bus was travelling in high speed, police said. The bus driver is also injured while the truck driver is in police custody for necessary investigation. RSS
