Police have arrested a person for allegedly raping a teenager at at Junichhade Rural Municipality-2 of Jajarkot District.

According to the police, a girl aged 13, who had gone to grind wheat at a water mill based in Chhare River was raped by a 27-year-old man.

Police Inspector Ramesh Awasthi informed that the accused used a cap to block the girl’s mouth and raped her at around midnight.

The victim has been taken to Jajarkot-based district hospital for medical examination.

Inspector Awasthi further informed that the police is conducting investigation regarding the incident.
