At least six persons have been injured after a truck fell off the Hugdi Khola Bridge in Jogimara, Dhadhing after colliding with a jeep on Thursday.
According to the police, the truck (Na 7 Kha 942), en route to Chitwan from Malekhu collided with the Scorpio jeep (Ba 1 Ya 1264) at the sharp turning in Hugdi Khola along the Prithvi Highway before falling off from the bridge.
The injured have been rushed to Chitwan for further medical treatment.
The Police informed that the accident might have occurred due to over speeding.
District Traffic Police Office has further informed that 11 vehicles have fallen from the bridge in the span of four years.
