At least 15 people were injured in a bus accident that occurred at Lekhnath Municipality in Pokhara on Wednesday.
According to the police, the passenger bus (Na 5 Kha 341) en route to Narayangath from Pokhara was speeding before it lost control and fell some 40 metres down at Tallo Gagangauda in Lekhnath along the Prithvi Highway. The police have informed that some of the injured are in serious condition.
DSP Govinda Puri informed that there were around 25-30 passengers aboard the bus and the injured are receiving medical treatment at various hospitals.
The police further said that the number of injured may rise.
