A Nepali youth was killed with a sharp weapon in bordering Indian town of Jogbani on Monday.
According to Inspector Santosh Niraula of the Area Police Office, Rani, Kishan Kumar Sunuwar of Itahari-10 was attacked with the sharp weapon during a scuffle at Jogbani-10. Incapacitated in the incident, Sunuwar fled towards Nepal and fell unconscious at Dashgaja area. Later he was rushed to the Koshi Zonal Hospital where he breathed his last during the course of treatment.
Inspector Niraula said the place where the brawl took place was often used by drug users. The drugs might have been the cause of the fight, he added.
Niraula said that they are in coordination with Indian police to arrest the persons involved in the attack.
