A person died and another sustained critical injuries in a mini-truck accident at Simkharka in Dilihang Rural Municipality-7 of Panchthar district on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Umesh Singh Mahaseth of Kathmandu.

The accident took place when a mini-truck (Ba 28 Pa 6683) fell some 500 metres down the road today, DSP Bamdev Gautam said.

He said that Sambhu Mahara, 24, of Mahottari was seriously injured in the incident and is undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Panchthar. RSS
