A driver was severely injured after a falling rock hit a micro bus at Bridge No.2 in Chitwan along the Narayangarh-Muglin road section on Friday.
The identity of the injured micro bus driver is yet to be established. He has been taken to the Bharatpur Hospital for treatment, the Area Police Office, Muglin, said.
The vehicle (Ba 2 Kha 5449) was heading towards Narayangarh from Kathmandu when the incident occurred.
The road expansion work is going on along the Narayangarh-Muglin road section. The road section remains close from 10 am to 4 pm every day. The incident took place soon after the vehicular movement resumed.
