A Yeti Airlines Jetstream aircraft came to a halt at the middle of the runway at Gautam Buddha Airport in Bhairahawa on Sunday following a technical problem with its front wheel after landing.

According to the airline, the wheel of the flight 893 locked after landing at the airport. The carrier said a technical team has been dispatched to solve the problem.

The airline has apologised for the inconvenience caused by the incident.

There were 26 passengers and crew members on board the aircraft.
