The forest fire that started near the headquarters of Okhaldhunga district at 2pm on Sunday has come under control.
Police Inspector Tika Karki informed that the fire was brought under control with the joint efforts of Nepal Police, Nepal Army and locals.
Incidents of forest fire are on the rise with summer approaching. Earlier, on Saturday, a team of Nepal Police and Army fought a fire for a whole day at Thamdaanda area in Siddhicharan Municipality.
