Incumbent Vice-President Nanda Bahaur Pun has filed his nomination for the election to the post Vice-President on Saturday.
CPN-UML leader Subash Nembang, Pampha Bhusal, Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal, Rekha Sharma and Parshuram Gurung proposed Pun’s candidacy while CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Dev Gurung, Onsari Gharti Magar, Ram Narayan Bidari, Jayapuri Gharti and Rajendra Prasad Gautam seconded the proposal.
The Election Commission (EC) has designated nomination filing time from 10 am to 2 pm today.
