A writ has been filed at the Supreme Court against newly appointed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday.
Advocate Yagyamani Neupane filed at the writ at the SC arguing that PM Oli assumed the office without taking the oath of office and secrecy as the PM.
As the Parliament would not recognise the person who did not take the oath, Neupane in his writ argued that such kind of person could not be the Prime Minister.
Saying that PM Oli’s appointment was unconstitutional, Neupane also demanded to remove him from the post.
The hearing on the writ will be held on Friday.
CPN-UML Chairman Oli was appointed as the 38th Prime Minister of Nepal on February 15.
