The Federal Socialist Forum Nepal (FSFN) has decided to join the incumbent government led by CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
A meeting of the party held on Tuesday has decided to endorse the proposal to join the government after the government expressed its commitment to amend the constitution, according to FSFN Co-Chair Rajendra Shrestha.
The party also concluded that the current development was a political success of the long struggle made by the party for the amendment of the constitution.
Deliberations will continue over the matters of government's policy and programmes and about allocation of portfolios in the Cabinet, Shrestha said.
The FSFN has 17 members in the House of Representatives. RSS
