Deuba, Singh file candidacy for NC PP leader

Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba and leader Prakash Man Singh have filed nominations for the elections of parliamentary party (PP) leader. The leaders went to NC’s Parliamentary Party office in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, on Sunday to file their candidacies.
Though Deuba reached the party office, he filed his candidacy through a letter of attorney. Leader Bal Krishna Khand registered Deuba’s nomination.
Likewise, NC Treasurer Sita Devi Yadav proposed candidacy of Prakash Man Sing and leader Sanjaya Kumar Gautam seconded it.
The NC is holding the election for PP leader on Monday. A committee led by Chin Kaji Shrestha has been formed to hold the election.
