4.6M aftershock jolts Dolakha

The National Seismological Center (NSC) at the Department of Mines and Geology on Friday recorded a 4.6 magnitude aftershock of the Gorkha earthquake of April 25, 2015.
The epicenter of the aftershock that occured at 10:51 was Shyama, near Jiri. Earlier on February 27, aftershock measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was recorded at the same place.
Chief at the Centre, Lok Bijaya Adhikari, said that a total of 491 aftershocks measuring above 4 on the Richter scale have been recorded so far after Gorkha earthquake. RSS
