One person died leaving 15 others injured when a passenger bus collided head-on with a truck at Harkatta, Nawalparasi along the Mahendra Highway on Friday.
According to the police, the passenger bus, Lu 2 Kha 1605, en route to Butwal from Narayangadh collided with a truck with Indian registration number, UP 83 AT 3966, coming from the opposite direction killing the driver of the bus Jiwan Kumar Adhikari of Kapilvastu.
The police further informed that the injured truck driver has been sent to Bhairawaha for further medical treatment while other injured are receiving medical treatment at Butwal.
