Four persons died and three others were injured in a jeep accident at Okhaldhunga in Raniban Rural Municipality of Dailekh district on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Saral Kumar Shahi, 35, of Mahabu Rural Municipality-5, Nirmala Pandey, 22, of Gaidabaj, Mahabu-4, Niramal Kumari Shahi, 29, of Kalikot, and Tikal Dhakal, of Surkhet.
The identities of the injured are yet to be established.
DSP Saroj Paudel informed that they have been taken to the District Hospital for postmortem.
The incident occurred when the four-wheeler (Lu 1 Ja 3532) heading towards Mahabu Rural Municipality from the Dailekh district headquarters skidded off the road and plunged, DSP Paudel added.
