Police have confiscated 66 kg marijuana from Hetauda on Saturday.
Acting on a tip-off, police seized the contraband from the truck (Na 5 Kha 7706) heading towards Birgunj from Chitwan during a security check at the Ratmate Check Post.
According to police, they have arrested trader Aite Lama, 33, driver Raj Kumar Chaudhary, 32, and assistant driver Niraj Chaudhary for investigation.
Police said that the trio were planning to transport the contraband to India after purchasing it from Manahari.
