Province Chief Ratna Lal Kayastha will appoint the Chief Minister today.
He claimed the CM post with a recommendation letter of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN).
SSFN and RJPN had forged an alliance in the Province 2 after none of the parties mustered majority votes.
SSFN Saroj Yadav has already been picked as the Speaker of Province 2.
Following a meeting of the top leaders of the two parties, Raut was given the recommendation letter through Parliamentary Party leader Jitendra Sonal.
