The Siddeswor Community Forest based in Musikot municipality-5 of Gulmi district caught a massive fire.
The fire that spread from Malikachaur of Kurgha in Musikot municipality-6 on Thursday has not come under control till this morning.
Locals of Aanpchaur, Khawang village are reeling under fear with the fire taking massive form. Now the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and local people are putting their efforts to douse the fire.
It has become difficult to take the forest fire under control as the affected area is surrounded by standing straw, said Arjun Aryal, a local.
The spreading fire has posed serious threat to over 50 houses and sheds in nearby settlement. RSS
