Nepali Congress leader Gagan Thapa said Kavre district would be the most suitable and viable capital of Province 3.
Speaking at a programme in the district on Saturday, Thapa claimed Kavre was geographically most suitable capital of Province 3. “Presence of physical infrastructure only should not be considered for a capital. It should also be feasible for all”, Thapa said adding, “Kavre district has necessary physical infrastructure and is geographically suitable.”
Nepali Congress-led government has announced Hetauda as the temporary capital of Province 3.
