The Kantipur daily is printing separate editions for each of the seven provinces starting on Thursday. The decision comes in the spirit of democracy and in keeping with federalism.
Each edition of Kantipur will have news contents dealing with the particular province. We start this new publishing journey with the Province 3 edition on Wednesday, January 31, 2018.
The first issues of other provincial editions will be out on February 4 for provinces 2, 5, 6 and 7, and February 5 for provinces1 and 4.
The dates coincide with the the days the concerned provinces are holding their first Provincial Assembly meetings—a historic occasion for the concerned province and the entire nation.
