Gulariya Police have confirmed that 14 persons have been arrested in connection with the mysterious death of a teenager at Bethani, Thakurbaba-2 in Gulariya.

According to police, 17-year-old Bal Krishna Acharya was found dead in a mustard field at Perhani in the area under suspicious circumstances on Wednesday.

Police SP Janak Raj Bhattarai informed that the deceased Acharya, who had gone to attend a marriage of a neighbour, was found dead yesterday following a search after he did not return home for two days after the marriage function.

Bhattarai said the preliminary investigations have indicated Acharya could have been murdered and police are looking into the matter.
