An infant has died in a road accident that occurred at Bhimeshowr Municipality-1 in Dolakha district of Tuesday.

The incident occurred when a Bolero jeep, Ba 12 Cha 8771, en route to Kalinchok Temple carrying a family of four, met with an accident at Odare in Bhimeshowr Municipality-1.

One-month-old son of Nani Maya Tamang of Priti in Ramechhap district succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital, informed Dolakha District Police Chief DSP Rameshwor Karki. 

Four others including the driver were also injured in the accident.

Meanwhile, another accident at Bhimeshowr Municipality-2 on Tuesday night, involving a tipper, left the conductor of the vehicle injured. The tipper fell some 500 metres down the road, according to Karki.
