An unidentified group detonated an improvised explosive device in the premises of the house of mayor of Godabari Municipality, Hari Singh Saud, at Attariya on Wednesday.
The compound walls of Saud's house suffered a minor damage in the explosion, said Spokesperson at the District Police Office Bir Bahadur Budhamagar.
The police also recovered around 35 meters long electric wire from the incident site. Investigation into the case was underway, said Budhamagar. RSS
