Twelve women have been elected unopposed as National Assembly (NA) election members. Three women each from Province 1, 2, 5 and 7 have been elected unopposed.
The political parties on Wednesday filed nominations for the National Assembly elections scheduled for February 7. The Election Commission had made arrangement for candidate nominations at the offices of election officers in seven provinces.
However, the official announcement of those elected unopposed would be made while publishing the final list. The candidates elected unopposed are as follows:

Nepali Congress: Sarita Prasain
