A man has been arrested for killing his father in Tulsipur of Dang.

Tej Bahadur Chaudhary, 29, of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-8 killed his father Baburam Chaudhary, 52, by attacking with a khukuri, the Area Police Office, Tulsipur, informed.

Police said that Tej Bahadur attacked Baburam in his neck from behind with the sharp weapon over family dispute. Following the incident, Tej Bahadur hanged his father in the kitchen to show that the latter committed suicide by hanging.

On the basis of a deep cut Baburam sustained in his neck, police after the investigation came to know that he was killed by his son, DSP Prakash Sapkota said.

Police said that Tej Bahadur has already confessed the crime.
