A motorcyclist died in a road accident at Padajungi road section of Kamal rural municipality-5 in Jhapa district on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Saurav Tajpuriya, 18, of Kamal rural municipality-6, according to Area Police Office, Damak.

The accident took place when a tipper (Ko 1 Kha 5223) hit the motorcycle (Me 9 Pa 2291). Saurav died while undergoing treatment at a local Lifeline Hospital.

Chief at Area Police Office, Damak, Deepak Giri, said that police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle. Investigation into the case was underway, he added. RSS
