The left alliance of CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Centre) has decided to file nominations for 43 posts in the National Assembly (NA) election.
A meeting of the joint task force of both the parties held at Singha Dubar on Wednesday finalised the number of the candidates.
The UML will file nominations for 29 seats and Maoist Centre for 14 seats.
According to taskforce coordinator and UML leader Subash Chandra Nembang, the alliance will decide about filing nominations for 13 seats after holding consultation with other parties.
The NA election has been scheduled for February 7.
