A Cabinet meeting scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed for 9 am on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba had called the meeting for 4:30 pm today to appoint provincial chiefs and fix temporary capitals.
Earlier on Sunday, PM Deuba had said the appointment of governors and naming of temporary provincial capitals would be done in three days.

Members of provincial assemblies have not been able to take oath of office due to delay in the appointment of province chiefs.
Meanwhile, PM Deuba has decided to hold a discussion with senior leaders of CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Centre) before taking any crucial decisions.
