Two people were killed leaving six others injured in a road accident at Ramgram Municipality-11 in Nawalparasi district on Tuesday.
The accident occurred when a passenger bus, Lu 1 Kha 9236, en route to Bhumahi from Parasi collided head-on with a truck, Na 5 Kha 9254.
According to the police, the bus’ conductor Jitendra Kumar Pandey, 26, of Ramgram-5 and passenger Arvind Thakur, 35, of Ramgram-2 were killed in the incident. Pandey breathed his last while receiving medical treatment at Ramnagar Community Hospital while Thakur died while being treated at Prithvi Chandra Hospital in the district.
