An infant died from viral fever at Junichande-2 of Jajarkot district on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as two-month-old Bhupendra Nepali, son of Ram Bahadur Nepali. A local Mukti Sharma said that the infant died in course of treatment in the house.
According to the family, although a health camp was organised at Bhairab Secondary School, they could not reach there as the school is very far from their house.
Junichande rural municipality in the district is in the grip of viral fever for over a week now which has claimed nine lives so far in the village. RSS
