Police have arrested a woman in possession of 13.5 kg marijuana from Pipalbot of Changunarayan Municipality-6, Bhaktapur district.
A joint police team deployed from Narcotics Control Bureau and Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur, arrested Purnimaya Tamang with the contraband drug from her house.
According to DSP Krishna Prasain, spokesperson at the Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur, she was arrested acting on a tip-off.
Tamang has been kept at the Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur, for investigation, said DSP Prasain. RSS
