Speaking at a press conference organised by Press Chautari and Press Centre at Bharatpur Airport in Chitwan on Thursday, the former Prime Minister said that there is no problem in unification between CPN-UML and Maoist Centre.
“I have requested party leaders not to speak unnecessary things about unification to the media,” he said. “It will send negative message to the people if leaders speak needless things. Hence, I have urged our party leaders to talk only official position taken by the parties,” the Maoist supremo said.
Meanwhile, leader Dahal said that he has started paying attention to establishing good governance and taking the country towards the path of prosperity rather than becoming prime minister or chairman.
“The party unification coordination committee has already approved me and KP ji as the leaders,” he said, adding, “We have no debate and argument on any issues.” “Unity is necessary for the good governance and prosperity rather than the posts of Prime Minister or Chairman.
Responding to the query of mediapersons, Dahal said that the temporary capitals of the provinces fixed by the incumbent government could be changed if the situation demands.
“There is no need to panic regarding province capitals,” said Dahal, “Provincial government has the right to fix provincial capitals in a suitable location.”
Talking about party unification between UML and Maoist Centre, Dahal made it clear that there is no disparity between the parties regarding unification. Discussions are underway regarding unification and it will be done before the government formation, he said.
Dahal arrived in his home district Chitwan on Thursday to participate in various programmes.
