A student allegedly committed suicide at the hostel of Kathmandu University (KU) in Kavre on Wednesday.
Bidhya Acharya, 22, of Dhunibeshi Municipality-6, Dhading, was found hanging at her hostel room at around 10 am today, Inspector Rabiraj Thapaliya of the District Police Office said.
Acharya was the third year (sixth semester) student at the university.
Inspector Thapaliya said that a suicide note was recovered from the incident site. He added that they are looking into the incident.
