RJP-N decides PR picks for provinces
The Rastriya Janata Party Nepal has selected its provincial assembly members from the Proportional Representation lists and submitted the names to the Election Commission.

However, dissatisfied party members vandalised the party office as they failed to be recommended for election.According to RJP-N General Secretary Keshav Jha, former chairman of the Madhesi Karmachari Manch Binod Kumar Singh and members of the group had resorted to vandalism after Singh’s name was not among the selected candidates.
“Sign boards of the party and furniture were damaged due to the vandalism,” Jha said. Party leaders condemned the vandalism. Jha was also excluded from the final provincial PR list.
The party has selected 10 members for Province 2 assembly and one each for those in provinces 5 and 7.The successful candidates are Babita Chaudhary, Nilam Devi Bhumiharin, Anju Kumari, Punam Yadav, Bibha Thakur, Dimple Jha, Ram Naresh Raya, Janaki Saran Sah, Ram Prabesh Baitha and Laila Khatun for Province 2; Abdul Kadir Sekh for Province 5; and Sunita Chaudhary for Province 7.
