Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against Nepal Electricity Authority-Pokhara Distribution Centre’s electrical foreman Ishwor Prasad Subedi on Thursday.
The anti-graft constitutional body had arrested Subedi red-handed with Rs 25,000 bribe money a few days ago.
CIAA spokesman Padya Prasad Pandeya said that Subedi used to seek bribe from service seekers under various pretext for installing electricity metres. He was taken under custody from NEA’s distribution centre in Malepatan.
