Armed Police Force (APF) SP Arun Shankar Timila has passed away after a short battle with pneumonia. Forty-nine-year-old Timili was posted at APF’s Duwakot-based Guheswori Battalion in Changu Narayan Municipality, Bhaktapur.
SP Timila died during the course of treatment at Human Organ Transplant Centre, Bhaktapur on Thursday. He was admitted at the hospital five days ago after contracting pneumonia. He was admitted at ICU for three days and kept on ventilator support from Wednesday. He had undergone kidney transplant 12 years ago. He had been serving in the police for the past 29 years.
