A woman has been found dead on the bank of Rapti River in Deukhari, Dang district.

According to District Police Office, Nirmala Tharu (Kumal), 40, of Jethan village in Gadhawa Rural Municipality-3, was found dead.

Police have suspected that Kumal could have been excessively drunk and drowned while trying to cross the Rapti river.
