Two employees working at Transport Management Office based in Sukedhara, Kathmandu have been arrested for taking bribe money from the office premises on Sunday.
A team of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) apprehended Nayab Subba (non gazetted first class officer) Yadav Poudel and Kharidar (non gazetted second class officer) Suman Pokhrel with Rs 32,000 bribe they collected from a service seeker.
CIAA said that the officers demanded the bribe through an agent Ashok Karki from a service seeker promising him to provide a Nepali driving licence based on his Saudi Arabian licence.
CIAA arrested Karki too for his involvement in the corruption.
