Kathmandu
Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has said the national assembly should be formed through single transferable voting system.
He was speaking at a programme organised by a local committee of the party in Dillibazar of the Capital on Saturday to congratulate him on his victory to the federal parliamentary election.
Former Deputy Prime Minister Singh further said that the government had sent the ordinance relating to form the national assembly two months before the recent parliamentary polls but it was still in the office of the President, which is not good.
He also said that NC will sit in the opposition by respecting people’s mandate. RSS
