A source close to PM’s residence in Baluwatar informed that PM Deuba has called a meeting of Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJP-N) and Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal (SSFN) at 11am.
PM's Press Coordinator Govinda Pariyar said that PM Deuba called the meeting of major political parties to hold discussion on the latest political scenario.
Similarly, the meeting would also discuss on various matters including ordinance related to National Assembly election, which is stuck at the office of the President.
The left alliance of the CPN-UML and CPN (MC) had expressed reservations after the government proposed single transferable vote system in the ordinance that was sent to the President for authentication.
Present in the meeting are CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Presidium Coordinator of the RJP-N Mahantha Thakur and SSFN Chairman Upendra Yadav, among other leaders.
