2,000 get landownership certificates in Mahottari

A total of 2,000 people of Balawa Municipality and Mahottari rural municipality have got landownership certificates. With this, their long struggle to get landownership certificates has ended.
A joint team from the District Survey Office and the National Land Rights Forum reached their doorsteps and distributed the certificates, said the survey team chief Umesh Lal Karna.
Likewise, approximately 21,000 people who are living in public land in the district will be provided with landownership certificates soon, siad Chairperson of the Forum Sin Maya Giri.
