Former Speaker and CPN-UML leader Subas Chandra Nembang has been elected in Ilam-2.
He garnered 36,514 votes to defeat his nearest rival Keshav Thapa from Nepali Congress, who secured 26,860 votes.
This is Nembang's fourth consecutive win from the constituency.
