CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara elected in Dang-2. He defeated his closest rival Raju Khanal of Nepali Congress (NC) by a margin of 14145 votes.
Mahara garnered 40042 votes against Khanal’s 25897, while CPN-ML’s trailed in distant third position with 2204 votes.
