CPN-UML's Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal has been elected in Morang constituency-3. He defeated Nepali Congress candidate Sunil Kumar Sharma.
He secured 42413 votes, while Sharma secured 40,506 votes. Dhakal was the former chief whip of CPN-UML, while Sharma runs a medical college.
