CPN-UML candidate Prem Prasad Tulachan has been elected as the federal parliament member from Mustang district.
He sealed the victory by securing 3,544 votes against his closest contender Romi Gauchan Thakali of Nepali Congress. He garnered 3,181 votes.
Of the votes cast, 48 have been declared invalid, office of chief election officer informed.
Chief Election Officer Bal Ram Tripathi handed over the certificate of victory to Tulachan at the vote counting centre.
