Police have arrested Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN)’s Kathmandu Valley chief Ravi Goley on Thursday.
Goley was arrested from Bandegaun of Lalitpur district. Police have also arrested his six aides from various places of Capital. Of them, two are the party’s district committee members.
Police suspect that the recent incidents of blasts in Kathmandu Valley were executed under Goley’s leadership.
Four Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were recovered from Goley’s house in Basundhara, Kathmandu on Wednesday. A bomb disposal squad of Nepal Army had disposed the explosives in his house on Wednesday evening.
Police also confiscated one Chinese pistol and eight rounds bullet from Goley.
