Voters' education reaches target group

At a news conference organised at the Election Commission (EC) to share information about the voters' education campaign of the elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies, Sharma said the EC was taking all possible measures to teach the voters for the valid voting.
"Taking voters' education to every voter is a challenging job in the short period. The sole effort of only the EC is not sufficient to make this campaign a success," she shared.
Sharma also said that 19,908 voters' education volunteers were send to every household to impart education on voting adding that the voters with identity cards could get information about voting.
The EC has also kept the ballot papers of first past the post electoral system and proportional electoral system of the elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies in the EC's webpage for an easy access to political parties, candidates and cadres.
Likewise, state-owned media houses and major media outlets in the country have been disseminating information on voters' education for valid voting. RSS
